North Parking Lot Improvements

-Federal project for the National Parks Department
-Contract amount $1,436,196

Braun Construction completed this project constructing a new three tier pervious parking lot at the Fort Vancouver Historic Site, a part of the National Park system. The park is a culturally sensitive site and archeological monitoring was required for all excavation and installation of underground utilities. The work includes:

  1. Sidewalk replacement at Hathaway Road and Fort Vancouver Way
  2. Roadway extension of Hathaway Road
  3. Construction of new three tier previous parking lot
  4. New street lighting along Hathaway Road and the new parking lot
  5. New roadway access from McClellan Road to Park Road
  6. New roadway from 5th street into the East barracks
  7. New sidewalk east of building 993
  8. Landscaping
